He came to Fordham as a defensive lineman but was moved to offensive line when the line was hit with injuries,
where he appeared in four games on the offensive line as well as special teams as a freshman. He appeared in
all 13 games as a sophomore making 26 tackles, seven sacks and five tackles for a loss. As a junior, Jones
played in all 12 games, starting 11. He finished the year with 34 tackles, 8.5 tackles for a loss and four sacks. He
appeared in 10 games as a senior in 2004, starting all 10 en route to being named first team All-Patriot League
and finished with 32 tackles, a team-high five sacks and six tackles for a loss.
Christ the King High School in New York where he earned All-League, All-City, and All-Queens recognition in
football. After graduating high school, Aki spent a year at Deerfield Academy in Deerfield, Massachusetts, then
