Started as a True Freshman and was a 4 Year Starter while at the University of Idaho. Greer was the
Vandals Team Captain during his Junior and Seniors years. Selected to the teams Leadership Squad .
Played for Tom Cable, current head coach of the Oakland Raiders, Nick Holt, current defensive
coordinator of USC and Dennis Erickson, 2 time national championship winner and current head coach of
Arizona State. These 3 head coaches had three completely different offenses that Greer adapted to with
his versatility by playing tight end, H-back, and fullback.
Was in camp with the New Orleans Saints (NFL) in 2007, was brought in as a fullback and for his
outstanding blocking ability.
Graduated from Mater Dei High School (2001) which has one of the top high school athletic programs in
the nation. Keith was his teams Offensive MVP and was rated as one of the Top 50 Tight Ends in the
nation. He was also listed as a Division I prospect as a linebacker. Greer was named to the Orange
County All Star Team and was also selected as an All Sierra League performer. He was also recruited by
USC and the University of California before selecting Idaho.
At Mater Dei High School, Greer caught 25 passes as a tight end and averaged 11.3 yards per catch his
senior year. He excelled in run and pass blocking and also played running back, defensive end and
linebacker. He was also voted his teams MVP as a football player and twice as a baseball player.
Keith's father played with the San Diego Padres organization for 7 years and his Grandfather still holds
running back records at University of San Diego.
