Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a language barrier?

The majority of players, coaches, management and staff will speak the English
language. Obviously some better than others. Socializing in the city or town
where you will be living should not be a problem either. You will always find
someone that is willing to converse if you put forth the effort. It is highly
recommended that you learn some basic words and phrases. An introductory
language course may be provided by your club. Remember, you are the one
who needs to make the language adjustment. If you keep an open mind it can
be very exciting and rewarding to learn the language and live the culture.
