Will there be other import players on the team?
This will depend on the finances of the team. If the club can afford more than
one import player, they will obtain them. Generally, there will be up to six
imports on a team with the remainder of the roster consisting of national
players. In a perfect situation, a club will try to have three imports on each side
of the ball. This is more common in the top divisions throughout Europe. A
typical import roster will consist of four Americans and two European players. A
European player is one that holds (European) citizenship in a country other
than the country that they are playing for.
