G.C. McCoy does it again with his second MVP Award in back
to back games against the Limhamn Griffins and the
Stockholm Mean Machine. The Sperry, Oklahoma native and
former Ottawa (Kansas) University footballer is doing it all for
the Tyreso Royal Crowns of Sweden. McCoy plays in the top
Division, Super Series, of the Swedish American Football
Federation.

Wearing the #11, McCoy exploded with a vengeance against
Limhamn where he was seeing double duty as a running back
and linebacker. He rushed for over 150 yards and scored the
teams only touchdown in the game. He also was impressive
on the defensive side where he contributed 6 tackles and a
sack. For his brilliant performance, G.C. McCoy was awarded
the games MVP and was presented with a Swiss wrist watch.

McCoy’s second MVP was not as fruitful after losing the disappointing game against the Stockholm Mean Machine
by the score of 32-7. Regardless of the outcome he was bestowed MVP honors with his iron man performance on
both sides of the ball. He rushed for 60 yards and scored the Royal Crowns only points. G.C. was also presented
with a few novelty gifts for his efforts.
