The European Federation of American Football is the head organisation for American
Football in Europe. Membership is open to national federations including a minimum of
five teams.
Their aim is to promote and develop the game of American Football, Flag Football and
Cheerleading. They organize and develop European competitions like EuroBowl and
tournaments like European Championships to encourage and increase information,
communication and international exchange.

Membership is open to national federations including a minimum of five teams in a league with published
schedule of national competitions and a minimum of one year of activities for the league.
EFAF member federations (recognized associations in Europe controlling American Football and related activities
at national level) are fully independent and responsible in all their national matters.

Annual tournament for top level club teams.
Eurobowl Final
Comprised of the two top teams from a 16 team knock-out tournament.
The winner is crowned: European Champion.
EFAF Cup
Annual tournament for teams from Spain, Italy and Austria. Invitations open to other Federations at discretion of
Organizing Committee.
European Championship for National Teams (Seniors)
Bi-annual championship for the national teams of member federations.
European Championship for National Teams (Juniors)
Bi-annual championship for the junior national teams (under 19 years of age) of member federations from 1994
onwards Wilson European Junior championship in co-operation with NFL/Wilson.
